The 5th Conference on Vehicle Control and Intelligence(CVCI2021) will be held in Tianjin from Oct. 29th to 31st. This event is sponsored by Technical Committee on Vehicle Control and Intelligence of Chinese Association of Automation, locally organized by Tianjin University, and technically co-sponsored by IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society and Technical Comittee on Intelligent Technology of Chinese Society of Internal Combustion Engines.
CVCI 2021 invites full papers and positionpapers that describe original and yet unpublished work. All full papers must be 4-6 pages and all position papers must be 2 pages. The conference will publish a collection of papers (U disk version), and both Chinese and English submissions are acceptable. Accepted full papers in English will be included in the IEEE Explorer database and indexed by EI. The conference will select the Best Paper and the GuoKonghui Paper (the first author should not be older than 35 years old when submitting the manuscript). Some outstanding papers will be recommended for publication in authoritative journals such as Journal of Tianjin University (EI), Control and Decision(EI), Control Engineering of China(EI).

Tianjin University, located in Tianjin, formerly known as Beiyang University, was founded in 1895 and is the first modern university in China, and now a national university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China. It is also among the first group of institutions of higher learning in the both national "Project 211" and "Project 985" to which priority is given in construction. In late 2000 the Ministry of Education and Tianjin Municipality signed an agreement which aims to build Tianjin University into a 1st-class university in the world in the 21st century.
