Notification

The 5th Conference on Vehicle Control and Intelligence(CVCI2021) will be held in Tianjin from Oct. 29th to 31st. This event is sponsored by Technical Committee on Vehicle Control and Intelligence of Chinese Association of Automation, locally organized by Tianjin University, and technically co-sponsored by IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society and Technical Comittee on Intelligent Technology of Chinese Society of Internal Combustion Engines.

                                     

 

Organizator

Tianjin University, located in Tianjin, formerly known as Beiyang University, was founded in 1895 and is the first modern university in China, and now a national university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China. It is also among the first group of institutions of higher learning in the both national "Project 211" and "Project 985" to which priority is given in construction. In late 2000 the Ministry of Education and Tianjin Municipality signed an agreement which aims to build Tianjin University into a 1st-class university in the world in the 21st century.

 

Topics of Interest 

The topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Automobile intelligence, automatic driving control

  • Automobile networking, Driver-vehicle-road coordinated control

  • Vehicle dynamics and control

  • Control and calibration of engines and powertrains

  • Automotive electrification, batteries, motors, electronic control

  • Pure electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles

  • Railway train control

  • UAV/USV/UUV control

 

Two kinds of papers are invited

 

CVCI 2021 invites full papers and position papers that describe original and yet unpublished work. All full papers must be 4-6 pages and all position papers must be 2 pages (the short papers will not be officially published). The conference will publish a collection of papers (U disk version), and both Chinese and English submissions are acceptable. Accepted full papers in English will be included in the IEEE Explorer database and indexed by EI.

1. Regular paper, describing original and yet unpublished work. Regular papers in English will be published in IEEE Xplore™, under the premise of giving the presentation of you paper at the 5th CAA International Conference on Vehicular Control and Intelligence. IEEE will submit papers for indexing in EI Compendex.

2. Position paper, for oral presentation only and will not be published in IEEE Xplore™.  

 

Page limits

Typically a regular paper (regular or invited) will consists of at least 4 pages, up to a maximum of 6 pages. Longer papers will also be accepted, up to 8 pages, but a fee of RMB 600 for each extra page will be required. Papers of more than 8 pages will be rejected. A position paper will consists of less than 2 pages.

Aug. 15, 2021: Submission deadline

Sep. 15, 2021: Notificaiton of acceptance

Sep. 30, 2021: Final camera-ready papers due

 

 

Note also that inclusion of conference material in IEEE Xplore™ does not guarantee indexing in Ei Compendex. IEEE will submit, but not guarantee, papers for indexing in EI Compendex.
