The 2024 Benchmark Challenge for Intelligent Chassis Control
Goal
The 2024 Benchmark Challenge for Intelligent Chassis Control will be held during the period of conference. In the era of assisted and autonomous driving features, the newly emerged intelligent chassis is playing an increasingly pivotal role in enhancing vehicle performance, particularly in extreme conditions like high-speed obstacle avoidance. This benchmark problem providing a platform with four in-wheel motors and active rear steering mounted will be organized as a Conference Session for students and researchers at the conference of CVCI 2024, challenging enhancing stability of intelligent chassis in extreme conditions by coordination control of the actuators. Challengers might submit their challenging results with a position paper or a regular paper. For more details, please see the flyer of Call for Challenge [pdf].
Procedure
1. Please download the Benchmark Mode 2024 [pdf] which details challenge problems, simulation models, parameter files, and evaluation rules.
2. Please contact to Dr. Nan Xu by email: CVCI_Challenge@163.com (Alternate: CVCI_Challenge@outlook.com) for register and requesting the download link of simulator. To register, please send back the Challenge_Register.xlsx with your information. The personal information in this file is only used for statistics and we promise that it will not be shown to others.
3. Challengers who are recognized will have their models and data sent by a challenge team member. Please use this model and data only for the benchmark challenge and do not share with others.
4. Challengers are requested to submit their program with final submission. Challenging results will be evaluated by organizers with a valuation system.
Notice
1. A special session will be organized for this benchmark challenging. The challengers are expected to register the conference and submit position paper or regular paper to represent the energy optimization algorithms in detail.
2. Gold, silver and bronze awards will be set up for the challenge. According to the model simulation results conducted by the organizer, the challenger with outstanding performance in the benchmark challenge will be awarded.
3. It is possible for the challenger to apply for the Author Award with a full paper submission. The detail information, please find it in Author Award part.
